Hello everyone! My name is Javi, and I’m a high-energy, spirited boy with a lot of potential. I require plenty of exercise each day to be my best self—whether that means playing with other dogs, running with my person, or enjoying some time off-leash in a big yard. These activities truly make me happy and tire me out. As the saying goes, a tired dog is a good dog! I’m currently working on my basic commands and doing well with "sit," "stay," "heel," "look," "touch," and "leave it." I sometimes find it a bit challenging to stay calm when I see other dogs on a leash, but I’m working on it and showing improvement. I also do well with other dogs after proper introductions. Ongoing training in stimulating environments will be important for my continued learning. I am kennel trained, although I tend to bark for about three minutes when I’m first kenneled. I don’t have any issues with resource guarding or noise phobias. I genuinely want to please and try hard to do the right thing. With a little patience and a lot of exercise, I can be a wonderful companion! Could you be my forever home?
