****ADOPTION PENDING!!!****

Update on Milton.

Milton has recovered well from his surgery and is now ready to start meeting families interested in adopting him. If you are interested in meeting Milton, please go to the LEARN website and fill out the adoption information form.

Milton has what the doctors believe is a very bad bacterial infection. He had surgery once to remove the infected tissue.  However the doctors could not see all the infected material, and unfortunately all of it was not removed. Two days after surgery, he developed a swelling under the incision, and it filled with infected fluid. He had to go to a specialist and have a CT scan.  Unfortunately, another surgery will be needed.

You'd  would never know Milton was going through any of this, as he continues to be a complete love and is as happy as he can be with his foster family, and proudly prancing with his stuffed toy as usual.

As you can imagine, his treatment costs thousands of dollars. If you can, please consider donating for Milton's medical bills, LEARN would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you.

Hi my name is Milton. I'm well mannered, and I know how to roll over and shake. I'm great with sit and stay. I love to play fetch and I'll bring the ball right back.  I'm housebroken and a great running partner. I'm great with other dogs and kids.

I'm respectful when you are eating at the dinner table, and I won't beg if you tell me not to. I walk great on a leash, and I'll sleep quietly by your feet. I would be the best dog if I could live with a family, or if you have another dog at home because I have some separation anxiety.

I look forward to finding my forever home!

Love, Milton
